about me

Hi, I’m Christina Soltis — welcome. I’m a photographer who’s passionate about capturing real life beautifully. Here’s a little about me.
My love affair with photography goes way back. It started when I was a kid collecting photos, building albums, and turning my spaces into little galleries. It grew when I got my first “real” film camera as a high school graduation gift, and it followed me through college yearbook days and into my years teaching high school English—where I also ran the yearbook and photography program. Eventually, I stepped away from the classroom to raise my kids and grow my photography business, and I’ve been behind the camera professionally ever since.
Because that’s the thing about photography: it stops time. It holds a moment still — not just what it looked like, but what it felt like. A photograph becomes proof: we were here, and this mattered. Years from now, you’ll come back to these images and remember the laugh, the squeeze of a hand, the look that passed between two people who didn’t even realize they were being seen.
My style is journalistic and authentic. I’m not chasing trendy color themes or whatever preset is popular this month. I aim for true-to-life because what’s real is already beautiful — and I want to catch your real beauty. The genuine kind. The kind you might not notice until you see it frozen in a frame and think, “Oh. That’s us.”
A little more about me: I’m a mom of two, an entrepreneur, a lover of sunlight, flowers, and new experiences. I’m optimistic and whimsical, playful and hard-working. I believe there’s beauty hiding in plain sight; I’m captivated by it constantly— and it’s my favorite thing to help people see it.
For me, photography is more than a paycheck. It’s art. It’s a passion. I am deeply honored every time someone invites me into their life and trusts me with their memories.
If you’re looking for photographs that feel honest, timeless, and like you — I’m so glad you’re here.
