about me
Although I have been interested in photography since I was a kid, my photography hobby didn’t convert into a business until 2012. Before then, I was a Malone University graduate and a high school English teacher. I also ran the yearbook program and taught kids how to take photos, write captions, and create designs and layouts that their audiences would enjoy.
Photography has been a passion of mine for as long as I can remember. As a kid I remember saying that I either wanted to be a photographer or a teacher when I grew up. It is amazing to me that I’ve had the opportunity to do both of these in life.
When my son was born I gave up my job teaching to focus on my family and join my mom, dad, and brother in running the family business. This also freed up a lot of time for me to spend more time with photography, and thus, my photography business was born.
I am, and always have been, passionate about photography. I love the way that a photograph preserves moments in life that pass so quickly otherwise. The older I get the more I realize what a gift a photograph is. It is an honor to work with my clients to capture these memories and to create priceless photographs that I know they and their families will cherish for a lifetime.
